Polish Sprint 2 & RELEASE!
It's official, the ROCKSTEADY project is completed and the final game build is available!
Tweaks and optimization went into the main parameters, delivering a more balanced and accessible experience to the players. Resources, spawn variables and prop placement is now set for players to enjoy. Don't miss it!
The map now has walls and limiters to prevent the player from going past the level boundaries.
The terrain has improved thanks to the development of a new compatible shader! The colors are slightly changing across the map.
Most of the RFX are implemented and tweaked! From player feedback on the character to world events and meteors.
Jumping now works consistently across the map, even on world assets!
Grabbing and moving has improved! (as every week)
The UI is now showing the updated design, and it works from the main menu to the win screen. It even supports controller input!
Lighting for game scene and main menu has been implemented and improved.
Quality of life improvements and visual feedback for better experience!
The game starts with a less steep learning curve and the rules/mechanics are explained and prompted more often during gameplay. Don't skip the loading screen too quickly!
Arrows now show both ship and components locations.
Audio is fully implemented! Thanks again to Greg for the amazing game soundtrack!
Don't miss on the opportunity to try out the final build, and let us know if you enjoy ROCKSTEADY in the comments!
