Production Week 6


Hey there loyal fans! We're reaching the point of no return with this week updates! All the features of our game are in place, ready to shape up with some more tweaking  in the future to be ready to ship!


We implemented a new type of deadly plant, a gassy one!


And the impacts will feel more dangerous and tangible thanks to screen shakes and controller rumble!

The wind event now picks a different direction each time, while ship components now known where they're supposed to go!

The missing parts are now highlighted by an effect on the ship, which is now sporting a fancy forcefield!

 

A lot of RFXs (sparks and particles) have been added in different areas of the game to enhance player feedback and the look of the game!

 

Beware of the fire asteroids! Even MORE DANGEROUS!


 The Power Generator resource is now changing shape when charging, to make the mechanic clearer to the player. And craters are easier to navigate!

 

And the zones are now more uniquely defined by local atmospheric color grading! Cool!


The UI is being progressively implemented, for now, a placeholder design is being used throughout menus and HUD, planned to be finalized in the upcoming updates.
